The Festival begins with a colorful procession of the bedecked camels against the red sandstone backdrop of the Junagarh fort. the festivity advances with the interesting competitions like camel fur cutting, camel milking and camel racing. The camels bejeweled with heavy ornaments and colorful accessories, display amazing footwork, dancing gracefully to the slightest direction of their trainers.
